Askhat Omarov

Askhat Omarov has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Askhat started their career in 2007 as CEO of Asia InterCommunications, where they scaled the small IT firm to one of the largest technology partners of Cisco Systems in the country, earning 3X Cisco Systems Best Partner in Kazakhstan. In 2015, they founded and became CEO of Santufei.com, an online flights/railways ticketing platform in Kazakhstan. With just $350k seed capital, they aggressively scaled the platform to $40M in GMV before it was acquired by Kaspi (LSE: KSPI). Currently, Askhat is the Founder/CEO of Farel (YC S20), a company redefining the future of aviation with its operating system for next-generation airlines.

Askhat Omarov attended Suleyman Demirel University from 2003 to 2008 where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Currently, they are a part of the Y Combinator S20 batch.
