Andrew Hood

Andrew Hood currently serves as an Associate Fellow at Chatham House and as a Partner in Trade, Regulation & Public Policy at FIELDFISHER LLP, where expertise lies in advising businesses, trade bodies, governments, and NGOs on regulatory and trade matters across various sectors. In addition, Andrew holds trustee positions with FareShare UK and the Public Law Project, focusing on community support and access to public law remedies for marginalized groups, respectively. Previous roles include Senior Director at Dechert LLP, General Counsel at the Prime Minister's Office, Head of International and EU Law at the Attorney General's Office, and Deputy Director at the Cabinet Office. Andrew's educational background includes an LL.B with European Study from Exeter University, an LL.M from McGill University, and a Bar Vocational Course from the Inns of Court School of Law.
