Simon Perera

Simon Perera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in funding, procurement, and consultancy. Currently serving as a Funding & Procurement Manager at FareShare UK since October 2024, Simon oversees budgeting and financial analysis for key funding streams that facilitate food sourcing for charitable redistribution. Prior to this role, Simon was a Fund Officer at FareShare UK, managing relationships with food suppliers to support the organization's network of charities. From September 2011 to November 2021, Simon worked as a Consultant at Lane Clark & Peacock LLP, providing pensions actuarial advice to clients and leading project teams. Simon holds a Fellowship in Actuarial Science from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, and a Ph.D. in Algebraic Model Theory from The University of Manchester.
