Rekha Bhatt

Rekha Bhatt is an experienced education systems leader dedicated to promoting equity and enhancing educational opportunities. They have served in various leadership roles, including Co-President of Innovative Schools at the Washington State Charter Schools Association, and have overseen substantial initiatives supporting charter public schools. Rekha has launched over 20 new schools and managed multi-million dollar grant portfolios while advocating for systemically underserved students. Their educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgetown University and a Master's in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, Rekha is the Senior Vice President of Programs at FareStart, working to transform lives through food and job training.
