Sara Patterson

Sara Patterson currently serves as a Life Skills and Empowerment Teacher at FareStart, focusing on employment and online program training, while also developing workshops to support students in various adult programs. Previous experience includes roles as a substitute teacher at Auburn Public Schools and an elementary school teacher at Fife Public Schools. Sara's background in education is further enhanced by positions as a 2nd grade teacher and substitute teacher at Federal Way Public Schools, along with experience as an online and ESL tutor. Prior to teaching, Sara managed events and projects for notable clients, including Microsoft and American Family Insurance, and held management and project assistant roles in sports and academic settings. Sara earned a Bachelor's Degree in Near Eastern Languages & Civilization from the University of Washington.
