Fábio Almeida

Fábio Almeida is a seasoned Senior Principal Mobile Engineer at FARFETCH, with a career spanning over a decade in mobile development and engineering leadership. Since joining FARFETCH in June 2015, Fábio has played crucial roles in various capacities, including Principal Mobile Engineer and Engineering Lead, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing technical strategies, management of multidisciplinary teams, and hands-on contributions to mobile codebases. Prior to FARFETCH, Fábio developed significant experience at Blip.pt, contributing to the iOS Sportsbook app during the 2014 World Cup, and at Memória Visual, where full-stack and mobile developments were led. Early career experiences include research and internships at INESC Porto and Mbit, respectively. Fábio holds an Integrated Master Degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
