João Vale

João Vale is a seasoned infrastructure engineer currently serving as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Farfetch since June 2020, following a tenure as a Senior Automation Engineer at Blip.pt where responsibilities included automation and CI/CD processes. Prior to Blip.pt, João Vale worked as a Software Engineer at NDrive, focusing on the development of web services and cross-platform applications. An early career began at Critical Software as an intern, contributing to systems for search and rescue helicopters. João Vale also gained valuable experience in project management and web application development through involvement with JuniFEUP, where roles included Systems Department Director. Academic qualifications include a BSc and MSc in Computer Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a CPE in English from the British Council.
