Financial Analysis with Real Estate Modeling (FARM) was created by 3 students in the University of Florida's Master of Science in Real Estate Program. Michael Harris, James Barrios, and Connor Kreis, who all come from various backgrounds in real estate including private equity, development, and banking, saw that many universities lacked the adequate excel training that the real estate industry requires. In 2019, they came together to form Financial Analysis with Real Estate Modeling. FARM consists of 6 voiced-over levels of intense excel training, taking students from the basics in excel and finance to building complicated formulas and full models from scratch. Since FARM first launched in 2019, it has gained popularity amongst universities and individuals hoping to sharpen their excel skills and real estate finance knowledge.
