Peter Marotti

Peter Marotti, CTP, CPA, CMA, currently serves as the Head of Capital Management at Farmer Mac since 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing capital calculations, planning, policy setting, stress testing, and ensuring capital adequacy for the ALCO and Board of Directors. Prior to this role, Marotti spent 17 years at Bank of New York Mellon, initially as Director and Head of Controllers Financial Planning and Analysis, where strategic financial forecasting was developed in collaboration with business line CFOs. Marotti then advanced to Managing Director and Head of Capital Management within Global Treasury, establishing and leading a team that managed $23 billion in capital while developing comprehensive capital plans and policies. Educationally, Marotti holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
