Andrea Frei has extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and education. Beginning as an Assistant in Medieval History at the University of Zurich from 1999 to 2000, Andrea transitioned to a Senior Consultant role at Farner | Team Farner from 2000 to 2016, leading public relations and healthcare communication initiatives. From 2016 to 2024, Andrea served as the Head of the Communication Department in Rapperswil-Jona, overseeing media relations and city communication strategies. Since 2025, Andrea has held leadership in Die Mitte St.Gallen. Additionally, Andrea has contributed to academia as a lecturer in Public Affairs at HWZ Zurich from 2008 to 2010 and currently serves as a board member for the educational foundation in the Canton of Schwyz. Andrea holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Zurich, completed in 1999.
