Jim Selikoff

Jim Selikoff has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Jim is currently employed as a Principal Engineer at FARO Technologies since 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded SiteScape in 2020 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. From 2010 to 2020, they worked as a Consultant/Independent Software Engineer, exploring and implementing mobile reality capture technologies. During this time, they also delivered a solution to . decimal LLC using OpenCV/C++ for their product line QA. Before that, they worked as a Systems Architect and Software Lead at .decimal, Inc. from 2017 to 2020, introducing mobile 3D surface scanning technology for clinical patient setup in electron radiation therapy. Earlier in their career, they held various roles including President at ASE INC, Sr. Software Engineer at Intersil, Member of the Technical Staff at SigmaTel, Inc., Sr. Software Engineer at Real3D, and Design Engineer at Eastman Kodak.

Jim Selikoff earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Music from Emory University in 1974. Jim then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Music Education from the University of Florida in 1975. Later, Jim attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1977 to 1980 and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2004, they briefly attended the Florida Institute of Technology, although no specific degree or field of study is provided.
