Simon Heinen

Simon Heinen has a wealth of experience in technology and innovation. Simon served as the Sr. Director of R&D at FARO Technologies starting in 2021. Prior to that, they were the CTO and Founder of HoloBuilder Inc since 2016. Simon also held the position of CTO and Founder at bitstars from 2012.

Simon Heinen attended RWTH Aachen University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. Simon then pursued further education at the same university from 2010 to 2012 and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.
