Stefan Hug

Stefan Hug began their work experience in 2001 as a Projektingenieur für industrielle Messdienstleistungen at metronom Gesellschaft für Industrievermessung mbH. Stefan then worked as a Projektingenieur im Bereich Qualitätsmanagement & Planung at Ing.-Büro Fack from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they joined FARO Europe GmbH & Co. KG and held various roles, including Sales Support Engineer, Application Engineer, Account Manager Laser Tracker, Account Manager Laser Scanner, Regional Sales Manager Germany BIM/CIM, and Regional Sales Manager Germany AEC & PSA. In 2022, they started working as a Sales Director DACH at FARO Technologies, where they currently hold the position.

Stefan Hug received their Dipl.-Ing. degree in Vermessungswesen from Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they studied from 1994 to 2000. Stefan also obtained additional certifications in various topics such as Having Difficult Conversations, Jeff Weiner on Managing Compassionately, Coaching and Developing Employees, and Hiring Your Team from Lynda.com in 2018 and 2019.
