Tim Gehrmann

Tim Gehrmann has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tim started as a Graduate Assistant at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), where they conducted research on intelligent user interfaces. Tim then joined IBM as a Software Architect, responsible for software development and improving products based on client requirements. After that, they worked at CoreMedia as a Senior Technical Consultant and later as a Technical Marketing Manager, where they supervised technical marketing infrastructure and managed online product launches. Tim then moved on to Monday Consulting GmbH, where they served as the Head of Business Development, responsible for product roadmaps, network development, and leading teams through Agile-Lean transformations. Currently, they work at FARO Technologies as the Director of Software Engineering Cloud, where they provide technical and organizational leadership, manages budget planning, and leads diverse teams of software engineers.

Tim Gehrmann received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universität zu Lübeck in 2003. Tim then went on to complete their Master's degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes in 2006. Tim has also obtained additional certifications in various fields, including project management and agile scrum.
