Matthew Thode

Matthew Thode is an experienced Infrastructure Engineer at Farsight Security, Inc. since May 2019, with a strong background in Linux system administration and VoIP specialization. Since October 2012, Matthew has served as a Trustee and Project Lead of the Gentoo Openstack project, actively contributing to multiple projects including the Hardened, Portage, and Keys projects. Previously, Matthew held various roles at Rackspace Hosting from June 2011 to February 2019, including Developer III and DevOps Engineer, where involvement in Openstack and Ansible was prominent. Earlier experience includes positions as a Linux Engineer at DOW Networks and as a Resident Linux Expert at High Powered Help. Matthew is the owner of mthode.org, focusing on Linux and VoIP solutions since April 2006. Matthew attended Purdue University from 2005 to 2007.
