Tamara Ivey

Tamara Ivey has worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years. Tamara began their career in 1998 as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at JORDACHE ENTERPRISES, INC dba FUBU LADIES. In 2001, they worked as a Merchandise Production Assistant at Global Gear Inc. and an Executive Assistant to the CEO at O.O.C Apperel. From 2006 to 2012, they held the role of Executive Assistant at Prudent Protection Service, Inc. During this time, they also worked at bebe stores as a Store Manager, Ed Hardy as an Assistant Store Manager Merchandising and Training Store Manager, and Ashley Stewart, Inc. as a Manager of Marketing & Customer Acquisitions, Marketing Associate, Assistant Buyer Denim/Bottoms/Activewear/Swimwear, and Denim Merchandising Assistant. In 2022, they began their current role as Director of Content at FashWire.

Tamara Ivey received their Diploma in Performing Arts from Canarsie H.S. in 1996. In 2003, they attended LIBBS Learning Institute for Beauty Sciences Cosmetology 2004BARRY for Cosmetology. In 2011, they obtained their LPQ certification from Loss Prevention Foundation in Retail Loss Prevention. Tamara is currently enrolled in John Jay College (CUNY).
