Jonathan Lim

Jonathan Lim is a Partner at Fasken's Vancouver office and Co-Leader of the firm's National Litigation Management Team, specializing in civil litigation with a focus on insurance litigation, product liability, transportation law, and general commercial litigation. Lim joined Fasken in 2008 as an articled student, later becoming an associate in the Insurance and Product Liability Practice Group. Additionally, Lim served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association from 2018 to 2023 and chaired the Audit and Risk Management Committee during the last year of service. Prior experiences include roles as a Summer Law Student at Rankin & Bond Law Corporation, Assistant Director at Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service, Residential Monitor at Phoenix Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Society, and a Fraud Investigator at eBay. Lim holds an LLB from Dalhousie University and a BA in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
