- National Campaign Fellow at Elected Officials to Protect America (EOPA), starting in November 2021 and ending in January 2022. Marcus worked to address the climate crisis.
- California Climate Action Corps AmeriCorps Fellow at the California Fire Safe Council from January 2021 to August 2021. Marcus focused on mapping and surveying wildfire resiliency organizations and co-authored a report on fire mitigation and resilience.
- Fit Expert at Road Runner Sports from August 2020 to December 2020.

Technology has the power and scale to be a force for good, yet there’s a gap in support for tech nonprofits who in the early stages need to build their product and prove their model. Fast Forward looks for product-driven nonprofits that leverage open source software, always connected mobile devices, open APIs, and inexpensive variable cost webinfrastructure to solve education, environmental, health, and human rights issues. Fast Forward then provides financial and human capital to help scale these technology solutions and maximize impact.
