Alex Hilton

Chief Executive at FAST

Alex Hilton has worked in the IT industry since 1985. Alex started their career as a Graduate Trainee at ICL Fujitsu. Alex then worked as a Channel Sales Executive at Borland in 1990. In 1994, they joined Microsoft UK as a Group Manager - Software Asset Management, and subsequently held roles as a Channel Group and Licensing Manager, Healthcare Business Manager, and Regional Reseller Sales Manager. In 2006, they became the Director, Infrastructure Management at FrontRange Solutions. In 2009, they took on the role of Chief Executive at the Federation Against Software Theft, and also became a Non Executive Director. In 2010, they became the Managing Director at Rise Partners (acquired by Outsourcery). In 2013, they became the Chief Executive at the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF).

Alex Hilton attended Pangbourne College from 1976 to 1983 and Kingston University from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained a degree in Information Systems Design. In December of 2016, they obtained a Cloud Industry Forum Certified Professional (Foundation) certification from the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF).
