Sara Baker

Sara Baker has a wealth of work experience in various roles. Sara began their career in 2009 as a Guide at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a role as a Mentor at Big Brothers Big Sisters in the same year. In 2010, they joined the Executive Committee of Sigma Iota Rho (Gamma Omega). In 2011, they were a Public Policy Fellow at the American Association of University Women and a Consultant at Washington University in St. Louis Arts and Sciences Computing. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Coordinator of International Programming at Washington University in St. Louis and a Special Projects Manager and Stephen M. Rivers Fellow at the Center for Democracy in the Americas. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Legislative and Policy Director-MO at ACLU of Missouri. Since 2021, they have served as the Deputy Chief of Staff at the City of Saint Louis Mayor's Office.

Sara Baker attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2008 to 2014, where they received a Masters in International Relations and Affairs. Sara also attended Olinda Portuguese Language School in 2014, where they earned an Intermediate Certificate in Portuguese Language. Sara has also attended Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Parkway West High School, and Washington University in St. Louis, but did not receive any degrees or certifications from these institutions.
