Sona Mkrtchyan

Sona Mkrtchyan, CCAS, CAMS, is the Deputy Head of Compliance, specializing in crypto compliance, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering in virtual asset service providers. They have extensive experience in risk management, having worked as a Senior Risk Manager and Internal Processes Coordinator at SoftConstruct until 2023. In addition, Sona held various positions in the arts and tourism sectors, including Project Manager at the Shakespeare International Theater Festival Yerevan and Reservations and Guest Relations Manager at Alla Tours. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Area Studies from The Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov and a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Saint Petersburg State University.
