Abigail Kaunda

Abigail Kaunda has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Abigail started their most recent position as a UI Engineer at Fastly in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Brookings Institution from 2019 to 2022, first as a Senior Front End Developer and then as a Front End Developer. From 2015 to 2019, Abigail worked at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), initially as a Digital Content Coordinator and later as a Digital Content Administrator. Abigail also gained experience as a Graphic Designer at the Center for Language Exploration Acquisition and Research (CLEAR) from 2012 to 2014. Abigail's earlier experience includes a role as a Contract Front End Developer at VENA TECHNOLOGIES, LLC from 2010 to 2012.

Abigail Kaunda completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Studies in International Business with a minor in Japanese Language and Area Studies from American University. Abigail attended American University from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Abigail also obtained certifications in various programming languages and frameworks. Abigail completed the "Learn Node.js Course" in March 2022 at Codecademy. In February 2019, they obtained certifications in both the "Learn PHP Course" and the "Learn React.js: Part II Course" from Codecademy.
