Adam Williams

Senior Software Engineer at Fastly

Adam Williams has had a diverse work experience within the software engineering field. Adam started their career at Cabify in 2013 as a Senior Software Developer, where they implemented new features and modified existing functionality using RoR, Node.js, and Go. Adam introduced Go to the company, leading to the replacement of most Node.js usage. In 2015, they moved to Comcast and held the position of Software Engineer 4, where they designed and built a native Go client for Apache Pulsar, collaborating with core project developers. This project was released as open-source by Comcast. In 2021, Adam joined Fastly as a Senior Software Engineer, where they currently hold a role.

Adam Williams attended the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Spanish Studies.
