Arun Kumar

Arun Kumar began their work experience in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Morgan Stanley. Arun later progressed to roles such as Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of Prime Brokerage assets and client services. Arun also managed a team and worked on business process security programs. In 2018, they transitioned to a Security Researcher role, focusing on cyber analytics research and prototyping. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Insider Threat Analytics Lead, and from 2020 to 2022, they were the Threat Hunt Lead for Payment Systems. In 2022, they joined Fastly as a Security Researcher. Before starting their career, Arun Kumar worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2004 to 2005.

Arun Kumar began their education in 1989 at St John's Senior Secondary School, where they studied until 2000. In 2000, they enrolled in Vidya Mandir in Mylapore, Chennai, and completed their studies there in 2002. Additionally, between 2002 and 2007, Arun attended the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, where they obtained a B.Tech degree and an M.Tech degree.
