Starting in 2008, Brad Benvenuti worked as a Programmer, Information Systems at Gongos Research until 2011, when they were promoted to Senior Programmer, Information Systems until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Web Developer at RIIS LLC. In 2013, they joined Persis Consulting as a Javascript Software Engineer at OnStar. In 2014, they moved to Netflix as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed an IoT platform for device test automation. In 2015, Benvenuti co-founded NextUp, a mobile app startup, and served as the Technical Co-Founder until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at StockX as a Senior Engineering Manager, with various roles including Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Fastly as a Senior Engineering Manager. In October 2022, they will transition to the role of Director, Engineering.
Brad Benvenuti attended Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 2004 to 2008. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on General Management, IT Specialization. In 2017, Brad enrolled in Udacity and completed the Self-Driving Car Nanodegree program in 2019.
