Brian Ly

Brian Ly has a diverse work experience starting from 2014. Brian worked as a Web Developer at Dell EMC from an unknown start date until 2015. Then, they joined Accenture in 2015 and worked as a Technology Architecture Associate Manager until 2022. Currently, Brian is working as a Cloud Engineer at Fastly, starting in January 2023.

Brian Ly completed their education at the University of California, Berkeley. From 2012 to 2015, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science and Japanese. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley in 2015.

Brian also holds various certifications. In 2013, they obtained the JLPT N2 certification from The Japan Foundation. In 2016, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. In 2017, they achieved the Technology Architect Associate certification from Accenture, followed by the Technology Architect certification in 2017 and the Digital Architect certification in 2018, both from Accenture as well. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka certification. Additionally, in 2015, they completed a Course Thread in Human-Centered Design from the Townsend Center for the Humanities and obtained a Certificate in Technology and Entrepreneurship from the UC Berkeley Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership.
