Brix G. has a diverse work experience across multiple companies and roles. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Florida State University in 2014. In 2015, they interned at HBO Latin America, where they supported IT functions for digital platforms and gained experience in project management, QA responsibilities, and user interface enhancement requirements. From 2016 to 2018, Brix worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Accenture Federal Services, focusing on DoD-affiliated projects and ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 requirements. In 2019, they joined Axos Bank as a Cyber Incident Analyst, responsible for SOC monitoring, incident response, and AD audit program implementation. Currently, Brix serves as a Senior SOC Analyst at Fastly, beginning in 2021.

Brix G. completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology at Florida State University from 2010 to 2014. Following that, from 2014 to 2016, Brix pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Information Systems, with a focus on InfoSec, at San Diego State University. In terms of additional certifications, Brix obtained the Splunk Certified User certification from Splunk in December 2017, the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) in June 2017, and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in May 2019.
