Brooks Cunningham has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Brooks started their career as a Guitar Teacher at Brooks Music Lessons in 2009, where they administered lessons to children and successfully implemented a marketing campaign. In 2010, they worked as an Intern at Merrill Lynch and later as a Campus Representative at 1stGIG.com. Brooks also served as a Teachers Assistant at A.B. Freeman and Video and Media Assistant at Tulane Athletics, where they assisted with video work and used technical equipment for filming. In 2011, they interned as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, creating plans for clients' financial goals. Brooks then joined Citrix as a Staff Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant from 2011 to 2016. At Distil Networks, they served as an Implementation Engineer, Manager of Implementation Services, and Manager of Service Operations from 2016 to 2019. Brooks then transitioned to Imperva, where they worked as a Service Operations Manager, managing a team of Product Support Engineers and resolving escalations. Brooks also served as a Principal Sales Engineer at Imperva and later at Fastly, where they took on additional roles of Product Manager and Senior Security Strategist.

Brooks Cunningham obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Brooks has also achieved various certifications throughout their career. In February 2019, they became a Certified Agile Leadership I through the Scrum Alliance. In February 2015, they obtained the Citrix NetScaler 10.5 Essentials and Networking certificate from Citrix. In August 2013, they achieved Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) accreditation from Cisco. Prior to that, in July 2013, Brooks obtained the Citrix Certified Administrator for Citrix NetScaler 9 (CCA) certificate. Brooks also received the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in March 2013.
