David Hornik

David Hornik is a seasoned venture investor and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Founding Partner at Lobby Capital since January 2021 and as a General Partner at August Capital since June 2000. Hornik has been active in the technology investment space for decades, with roles including Executive Producer of The Lobby Conference since 2007 and serving on the boards of multiple companies such as Bill.com, Fastly, MaintainX, and Fletch. In academia, Hornik has shared expertise as a lecturer at both Harvard Law School since 2008 and Stanford University Graduate School of Business since 2017. Hornik's educational background includes an AB in Computer Music from Stanford University, an M.Phil. in Criminology from the University of Cambridge, and a JD from Harvard Law School.
