Eric Mrak

Eric Mrak is a seasoned technology professional with a strong background in site reliability engineering and cloud platform management. Currently serving as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Fastly, Eric specializes in managing Kubernetes platforms across multicloud and multi-regional environments while employing Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Jenkins. Prior experience includes roles at Brex as a Cloud Platform Engineer, designing intranet networking infrastructure, and a significant tenure at Braintree, where Eric held several positions including Technical Lead for Platform, overseeing a team of engineers and managing Kubernetes implementations. Eric's career also features roles at PayPal, eBay, ThoughtWorks, and LectureTools, supported by a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
