Ernest Small

Ernest Small has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Ernest began their career in 1996 at Xerox as a System Admin. In 1999, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Software Support Engineer and stayed with the company until 2007. Following that, they worked at VMware from 2007 to 2011, taking on roles such as Enterprise Technical Support Engineer and BCS Technical Support Engineer. From 2011 to 2019, they worked at HPE (3PAR) as a CPE Software QA Engineer, responsible for testing and documenting the maintenance updates and critical patches. Ernest also worked as an HP Server Automation Quality Engineer during this time. Most recently, they joined Fastly in December 2020 as a Lab Operations Engineer.

Ernest Small obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained two certifications, namely "Avoiding New Manager Mistakes" and "Onboarding New Hires as a Manager" from LinkedIn in August 2022.
