Director Global Deal Strategy at Fastly

Jamie Baker has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. They began their career at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. as an Inside Sales Rep, responsible for telesales and growing reseller accounts in the IT/VAR channel. They later worked as a Business Development Analyst at the same company, identifying potential new accounts and cold calling them.

Jamie then joined Ricoh Americas Corporation as a Contract Pricing Analyst, managing pricing for government contracts and facilitating relationships between field sales and contract pricing. They were later promoted to Senior Contract Pricing Analyst.

Afterwards, Jamie joined Fastly as a Deal Desk Manager, where they shaped deals for specific verticals and ensured compliance on customer contract renewals. They also maintained relationships with sales reps and participated in sales forecasting.

Following their time at Fastly, Jamie worked at GitHub as a Deal Desk Manager, responsible for managing the deal desk and supporting the sales team.

Currently, Jamie is back at Fastly, holding the position of Senior Manager, Global Deal Strategy. Their responsibilities include managing global deals and providing strategic guidance. They are set to be promoted to the role of Director, Global Deal Strategy in April 2023.

Jamie Baker completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Drew University. In addition to the degree, Jamie has obtained two additional certifications: Mergers & Acquisitions from LinkedIn, obtained in June 2021, and Ricoh Emerging Leadership Program from Ricoh Americas Corporation, obtained in October 2015.
