John D'Amato

RVP Sales, Strategic Accounts at Fastly

John D'Amato has a diverse work experience across various companies.

John started their career as a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial, where they ran their own financial planning practice and achieved success as a top 10 advisor in their first year.

John later joined FairPoint Communications as a Sales Support Coordinator before moving on to Dyn. At Dyn, they held several roles, including Account Executive, Director of Strategic Partners, and Director of Business Development. In these positions, they focused on building strategic partnerships, managing sales teams, creating strategic relationships with major cloud platforms, and exceeding sales targets.

Following their time at Dyn, John worked at Oracle as a Director of Strategic Development, where they contributed to the company's acquisition of Dyn.

John then joined Manchester Community Music School as Chairman of the Board, where they supported music education and was responsible for hiring an executive director, fundraising, and recruiting new board members.

After that, they joined Minim as VP of Business Development and later became SVP of Revenue. In these roles, they led a team focused on revenue growth and expanding Minim's user base through various sales motions and partnerships.

Most recently, John joined Fastly as RVP Sales, Strategic Accounts, where they are responsible for driving sales and strategic account management.

John D'Amato graduated from West High School in 2002. John then went on to attend Tufts University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Intelligently Leadership Training program at Intelligent.ly in September 2014. Additionally, they became a member of the Leadership Manchester Class of 2019, organized by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, in June 2019.
