John Donahue

John Donahue has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John is currently working at Fastly as a Principal Engineer since June 2021. Before that, they held the position of Director, Engineering at Fastly from October 2020 to June 2021. From 2015, John worked at Signal Sciences, initially as a Software Engineer from June 2015 to January 2016, then as an Engineering Manager from January 2016 to September 2017, and again as an Engineering Manager from January 2020 to October 2020. In between, they also worked as an Engineering Manager at Verizon Digital Media Services from December 2013 to May 2015. Prior to that, John served as a Software Architect at Two Bit Circus from October 2012 to October 2013. John also has experience working at Interpolls as a Director of Product Development from March 2011 to September 2012, as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2009 to March 2011, and as a Junior Production Engineer from April 2008 to July 2009. Additionally, they co-founded FrolicPhone in June 2011. John's earliest work experience includes working as an Executive Assistant at KHAKY from July 2006 to March 2008.

John Donahue attended the University of Kentucky from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a degree in Philosophy / Pre-med. However, they did not complete their degree and thus graduated without obtaining any formal credentials.
