Jonathan Robertson

Jonathan Robertson, CISSP, has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Jonathan currently works as an Observability Engineer at Fastly, beginning in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Twilio SendGrid from January 2017 to October 2021.

Before joining Twilio SendGrid, Jonathan held various roles at Taos, starting as a Security, Windows, Unix & Network Consultant from June 2011 to December 2016. Prior to Taos, they worked as a Consultant at Lion Network Solutions from September 2009 to June 2011.

Jonathan also gained valuable experience as an IT Manager at MaxiScale from March 2009 to August 2010, and as a Unix Systems Administrator at MaxiScale from November 2006 to March 2009.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked at 3Leaf Systems as an IT Manager from November 2008 to May 2009 and as a Senior Systems Engineer from January 2007 to October 2008. Jonathan also worked at Taos as a Senior Systems Engineer from November 2006 to January 2007.

Jonathan's earlier roles include being a Systems Engineer at Symantec from October 2005 to November 2006, a Network Evaluation Engineer at EdgeLink from February 2005 to October 2005, and a Technical Support Engineer/Product Support Analyst at Symantec from August 2004 to February 2005 and February 2002 to July 2004, respectively.

Jonathan Robertson, CISSP, received their education in the field of computer engineering and software engineering. Jonathan pursued a Pre-BS degree in Computer Engineering Technology & Electronics Engineering Technology from Forsyth Technical from 1996 to 1999. Later, they completed another Pre-BS degree in Software Engineering from Colorado Technical University Online from 2005 to 2006.

In addition to their educational background, Jonathan Robertson obtained the CISSP certification from ISC2 in December 2014.
