Juan Bran

Juan Bran has a diverse work experience spanning several technology companies. Juan currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Fastly, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Edgecast, including Senior Manager in Software Dev Engineering from May 2021 to December 2021, and Principal Software Engineer from June 2017 to May 2021.

Before their time at Edgecast, Juan worked at Facebook as a Production Engineer from May 2016 to April 2017.

Prior to their role at Facebook, they held web performance engineering positions at Edgecast from May 2014 to April 2016, and at Ticketmaster from March 2013 to May 2014. At Ticketmaster, they also served as a Senior System Administrator from August 2011 to March 2013 and as a Web Operations Analyst from November 2010 to August 2011.

Additionally, Juan gained experience as an Independent Consultant from January 2010 to December 2010 and as an Application Engineer at BigFix Inc. from April 2007 to April 2009.

Juan Bran attended Antelope Valley College from 2001 to 2002. During this time, they studied Computer Science, although no degree was achieved.
