Leonard Marciano

Leonard Marciano has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and data center operations. Leonard started their career as a PC Service Technician at TEKsystems from September 2008 to May 2010. In April 2009, they joined Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Data Center Operations Technician III. During their tenure at Verizon, Leonard displayed expertise in various tasks including troubleshooting network and hardware issues, configuring Linux operating systems, installing and upgrading hardware components, and assisting customers with emergency situations and restorations. In January 2011, they became a NOC Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior NOC Engineer in March 2013. Leonard worked at Verizon until June 2015.

Following their time at Verizon, Leonard joined Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. as a Network Engineer II in June 2015. Their responsibilities included network configuration and troubleshooting. In June 2016, they were promoted to the position of Senior Network Engineer, where they continued to contribute to the organization until December 2017.

In January 2018, Leonard joined Chewy as a Senior Network Engineer, but their tenure was short-lived as they left in June 2018.

Subsequently, Leonard started working at Fastly in June 2018 as an Edge Cloud Operations Senior Network Engineer until January 2020. Leonard then took on the role of Senior Data Center Provisioning Network Engineer until April 2021. Currently, Leonard holds the position of Staff Data Center Provisioning Network and Systems Engineer at Fastly, beginning in April 2021.

Leonard Marciano has a strong education history in the field of technology and networking. Leonard began their education at Miami Dade College, where they obtained an Associate degree in Arts from 2002 to 2006. Following this, Leonard Marciano attended Florida International University from 2007 to 2012, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology. Leonard further pursued their education at Florida International University from 2012 to 2014, earning a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications and Networking. Leonard Marciano has also obtained various certifications from reputable institutions such as CompTIA, Cisco, Juniper Networks, and Microsoft. These certifications include A+, CCENT, CCNA, CCNA SP OPERATIONS, CCNP Routing and Switching, JNCIA, JNCIP-SP, JNCIS-SP, MCP, MCTS, Network+, Server+, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and edX Verified Certificate for The Analytics Edge.
