Mark Richards has a diverse work experience in technology and infrastructure management. Mark started their career at the Los Angeles Times as a Director of Technology Development, where they oversaw software development and managed multiple projects. Mark then moved on to Fox Sports Interactive Media and Fox Interactive Media, holding the role of VP of Infrastructure and Technical Operations. In these positions, they were responsible for IT strategy and execution, as well as overseeing server, network, and datacenter operations. Mark also played a key role in the launch of high-volume, scalable architectures and custom content management systems.
Mark then joined Hulu as Interim VP of Infrastructure and Technology, where they built and led the IT organization and implemented technical processes and data workflows. Mark successfully launched the beta version of Hulu and oversaw its public launch. After Hulu, Mark served as CTO at OnGreen, a role in which they contributed to the company's technology strategy.
Before their current role, Mark worked at OurStay as Director, Global Technology, where they focused on technology and product strategies, data and infrastructure architecture, product development, cloud computing strategy, financial modeling and forecasting, and fundraising.
Currently, Mark is employed by Fastly as a Sales Engineer.
Mark Richards earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business. Mark studied at the institution from 1988 to 1992.
