Marvin Roque

Marvin Roque has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and recruiting roles. Marvin is currently working at Fastly as a Staff Talent Acquisition Partner, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and Manager of Recruiting Operations at Fastly.

Before joining Fastly, Marvin worked at Databricks as the Manager of Recruiting Operations and Senior Sales Recruiter. At Box, they held various roles including Manager of Sales Recruiting, Interim Manager & Senior Recruiter for G&A, and Senior Recruiter for Box Consulting. Marvin also worked at Hitachi Data Systems as a Sourcer/Recruiter.

Marvin's earlier work experience includes roles as a Chapter Advisor of Professional Development at Alpha Kappa Psi, a Business Development Intern at Pingsta, a Recruiting/Business Development Intern at Rapizi, an HR/Recruitment Intern at Child Development Inc., and an HR/Recruiting Intern at DreamWorks Animation and FoxHollow Technologies.

Marvin Roque completed their high school education at James Logan High School. Following this, they pursued a degree in Human Resource Management from San Jose State University, which they completed in 2009.
