Security Operations Center Analyst at Fastly

Mary Agnes J. has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and information security. Mary Agnes is currently working as a Security Operations Center Analyst at Fastly since 2021. Prior to this, they were involved in the Monash University Industry Experience Project in 2020, where they worked as an Information Security Analyst and Front-End developer. In that role, they developed a website focused on helping parents motivate their teenagers to stay active, while also ensuring its security by hosting it on Azure cloud and conducting regular code reviews using Kali tools.

Before that, Mary worked as a Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte from 2016 to 2019. In this role, they demonstrated excellence in adapting to technical complexities in healthcare services and had a strong understanding of Epic Bridges module and HL7 based integration of EMR's. Mary Agnes also had fundamental knowledge of Rhapsody and Cloverleaf Engines and their operations.

Prior to Deloitte, Mary worked at Wipro as a Project Engineer from 2015 to 2016. During their time there, they received training in JAVA, J2EE, and SQL, and helped develop an online clinic system. This system allowed patients to schedule appointments with doctors online and record their ailments. Mary had also interned at Wipro from February 2015 to July 2015, gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Mary Agnes J. earned a Master's degree in Networks and Security from Monash University, which they attended from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology from JSS Academy of Technical Education, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Mary Agnes J. obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021, Introduction to R from DataCamp in March 2020, and EPIC Bridges Interfaces from Epic in July 2016.
