Mathew Allen

Mathew Allen, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and roles. Mathew started their career in 2001 at VERITAS Software, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer and Project Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of infrastructure services for various clients. In 2004, Mathew joined Wells Fargo as a Project Manager Consultant before transitioning to Advanced Systems Group, where they served as a Senior Project Manager for over a decade.

Since 2017, Mathew has been working at Sprouts Farmer's Market as an IT Program Manager, PMP, ACP, SCM. In this role, they manage enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies. Mathew has also served as the Program Manager for Fresh Item Management, leading a multi-year program consisting of 12 projects with significant impact on the company's profits and IT spend. Mathew is responsible for creating and deploying organizational change management plans and leading the planning and execution of Sprints and Scrum sessions.

Currently, Mathew is employed at Fastly as a Staff Program Manager - Customer Experience.

Mathew Allen, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1978 to 1981. Afterward, they pursued another Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at Arizona State University from 1981 to 1986. Later, from 1999 to 2002, they enrolled in St. Michael's Seminary in San Clemente, California and obtained a Master of Arts in Ministry and Counseling.

In terms of certifications, Mathew Allen has completed several notable achievements. Mathew acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2017, as well as the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) credential from the Scrum Alliance in July 2019. Furthermore, they obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2019.
