Matt Cone

Matt Cone has more than 15 years of experience in technical writing and system administration. Matt has worked for various companies such as Fastly, Skyword Inc., Linode, QinetiQ North America, Ultramain Systems, Inc., and UNM Press. In their role as a Senior Technical Writer at Fastly since 2015, they are responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation. Prior to that, they worked at Skyword Inc. and Linode as a Technical Writer, where they wrote and edited documentation for their software and cloud infrastructure respectively. Matt also has experience as a Technical Writer at QinetiQ North America, where they provided information security services. Furthermore, they worked as a Technical Writer at Ultramain Systems, Inc., documenting maintenance and logistics software solutions for airlines. Matt Cone began their career as a System Administrator at UNM Press, where they developed a web-based application and maintained servers.

Matt Cone received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English-Philosophy from The University of New Mexico in 2006.
