Matthew Mathur

Matthew Mathur has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Matthew has worked as a Senior Security Researcher at Fastly since December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Lead Penetration Tester at Raxis from November 2020 to November 2022. Matthew also worked as a Software Engineer in Attack Tools at SimSpace Corporation from September 2019 to October 2020. Furthermore, they gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer at Charles River Analytics from February 2018 to August 2019, where they led a cyber security interest group and analyzed attack spaces of various systems, among other responsibilities. Matthew started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and later became a Fellow at Northeastern University from May 2017 to May 2018 and from September 2015 to December 2017, respectively. Additionally, they worked as a Malware Research Engineer at Barkly from January 2016 to April 2017, and as a Software Engineer Co-op at SparkFund from January 2015 to August 2015. Matthew's work experience is complemented by their role as a tutor for Discrete Structures at Northeastern University College of Computer and Information Science from September 2014 to December 2014.

Matthew Mathur completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber Operations from Northeastern University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors from Smithtown High School West from 2009 to 2013.
