Michael Procter

Michael Procter has extensive work experience in software engineering and engineering design. Michael currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Fastly since May 2021. Before joining Fastly, they worked at GitHub as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2015 to May 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Engineer at VoIP.co.uk from August 2008 to January 2015. Michael also worked as a Senior Engineer at Citel from June 2002 to August 2008. Earlier in their career, they were employed as a Software Engineer at Datapath Ltd from March 2001 to June 2002, and as a Senior Design Engineer at Telsis Ltd. from August 1995 to March 2001.

Michael Procter attended the University of Oxford from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained an MA degree in Physics. Michael also received a Deep Learning Specialization certification from Coursera in April 2018.
