Mudassir M.

Mudassir M. has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Mudassir started their career at GMU Advanced Network Technologies as an Intern, where they conducted research on Open Flow integration and collaborated with IT divisions to enhance network capabilities. Mudassir then joined Diligent Solutions Inc as a Network Administrator, where they designed and implemented network services and ensured connectivity for clients. Mudassir's next role was at George Mason University, where they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, assisting students in networking coursework and leading labs for various subjects. Mudassir also served as a Telecom Networking Lab Assistant at the university, where they designed and implemented a remotely accessible network and system virtualization lab.

In 2015, Mudassir joined Distil Networks as a Solutions Engineer, where they played multiple roles including Presales Engineer, Implementation Engineer, and Solutions Engineer. In these roles, they participated in discovering customer requirements, recommended solutions, determined customer web traffic specifications, and created documentation for appliance sizing and load balancer configuration. Mudassir also automated AWS VPC deployments and managed a team of support engineers as a Lead Technical Support Engineer.

Currently, Mudassir works at Fastly as a Sr. Sales Engineer, leveraging their expertise in sales and engineering to support the company's clients.

Mudassir M. began their education at Syed Hashim College of Science and Technology, JNTU, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from 2003 to 2007. Mudassir then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at George Mason University from 2008 to 2010.

Following their Master's Degree, Mudassir M. continued their studies at George Mason University, focusing on Information Technology, in pursuit of a PhD. Mudassir performed five years of studies in the PhD program before exiting the program in December 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Mudassir M. obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco in January 2015. Mudassir also obtained the ANPT certification from George Mason University in December 2009. Currently, they have a pending CCNP certification in ROUTE and TROUBLESHOOT, SWITCH from Cisco.
