Peter Youngmeister

Peter Youngmeister has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Peter started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Rael & Letson in 2007. In 2009, they joined Kiva.org as a Systems Administration Intern before becoming an IT Operations Engineer and later a Systems Administrator. At Kiva.org, Peter was responsible for maintenance and administration of production infrastructure, Linux systems, MySQL instances, and code deployment. Peter also gained experience in load-balancing, VIP management, and 24/7 on-call responsibilities. In 2011, Peter joined the Wikimedia Foundation as an Operations Engineer. Peter worked there until 2013 when they joined Fastly as an Engineer, and later became a Software Engineer.

Peter Youngmeister received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Peter attended the university from 2002 to 2006.
