Pushkar Jaltare

Pushkar Jaltare has extensive work experience in the field of security engineering. Pushkar currently works at Fastly as a Staff Security Engineer, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from August 2019 to August 2022, holding the role of Application Security Engineer. Before joining AWS, Pushkar worked at Security Innovation from January 2017 to August 2019 as a Security Engineer. Pushkar also interned at Security Innovation from May to August 2016, gaining hands-on experience in security engineering. Pushkar's earliest work experience in the field was as a Security Engineer Intern at Cigital, Inc from June to December 2015, where they conducted security assessments on web applications, performed automated testing using tools like Nessus, APPScan, and Metasploit, and provided vulnerability reports and recommendations to clients.

Pushkar Jaltare completed a Master of Science (MS) in Information Assurance from Northeastern University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, graduating in 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Pushkar received a Cloud Security Excellence certification from Wiz in June 2023. Pushkar also obtained the LFS 462 : Open Source Virtualization certification from The Linux Foundation in January 2019. In April 2015, they completed a Cryptography 1 course from Coursera, and in November 2014, they obtained a certificate in Software Security from Coursera Verified Certificates. Pushkar also holds an Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services, earned in May 2019.
