Sam Holton started their work experience in 2014 as a Packager at Dicus Apple Market. From 2018 to 2019, Sam worked as a Web and Social Media Manager for What To Do at OU at the University of Oklahoma. From 2019 to 2020, Sam was a Lead Creative Communications Associate at the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. In 2020, Sam worked as a Web Development Intern at Intelek Technologies. From 2020 to 2022, Sam worked as a Freelance Web and Graphic Designer. In 2022, Sam joined Paycom as a Marketing Automation Specialist, where they engineered new marketing solutions and operationalized marketing automation workflows. Currently, Sam works at Fastly as a Marketing Technologist.

Sam Holton completed their education at the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from 2017 to 2021. In 2018, they participated in a study abroad program called "OU in Arezzo Italy" through the University of Oklahoma. Prior to attending the University of Oklahoma, Sam Holton attended Ada High School from 2013 to 2017. In terms of certifications, they obtained an Adobe Experience Manager (CMS Platform) Certification from the University of Oklahoma in September 2018. They also became an Adobe Certified Professional - Marketo Engage Business Practitioner through Adobe in October 2022.
