Sanjay Rao

Sanjay Rao has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sanjay most recently worked at Fastly as a Principal Engineer since December 2020. Prior to that, from May 2020 to December 2020, they held the same position at Neustar, Inc.

Sanjay also spent a significant portion of their career at Verisign, Inc, where they started in August 2005 and worked as a Project Lead/Manager until May 2020. In this role, they led a team of engineers in implementing DDoS protection services for Verisign managed services.

Earlier in their career, Sanjay worked at Ericsson, Inc as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2000 to August 2005. Sanjay played a crucial role in the development of the Gigabit IP router, implementing various enhancements and fixing issues in the BGP codebase.
