Sue Smith

Sue Smith has a diverse background in the tech industry, with extensive experience in developer education and advocacy. Sue most recently worked at Fastly as a Developer Experience Lead, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Glitch from April 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Fastly and Glitch, Sue was a Developer Educator at Postman from October 2019 to March 2021. During their time there, they played a key role in designing the company's education strategy and implementing their first certification program.

From April 2016 to January 2019, Sue worked at Dropsource as a Developer Educator and later a Developer Advocate. Sue was responsible for leading the company's education initiatives, including creating documentation, tutorials, and video content, as well as managing the community and providing support.

Prior to their roles at Postman and Dropsource, Sue worked as a freelance developer and education consultant. Sue provided development and education services, including tutoring and demonstrating for post-graduate students at Glasgow Uni Computing Science department, and working on various education programs at the Mozilla Foundation.

Throughout their career, Sue has demonstrated a passion for developer education and building strong communities.

Sue Smith obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Glasgow, starting in 2006 and completing the program in 2007.
